ORDERS OVER $50 QUALIFY FOR FREE LOCAL DELIVERY in Newmarket and across Central York Region: All orders placed before 2pm are eligible for same day local delivery by 7pm. Orders placed after 2pm are delivered on the next business day in the order of which they are received. Deliveries are mostly made during our regular business hours; Tuesday 12:00 - 6:00pm, Weds through Saturday 10:00 am-6:00 pm, we will do our best to accept special requests in certain circumstances.There is a $10 delivery fee for local delivery of orders under $50.

Gifts purchased from CAREBAG be delivered to loved ones and friends for ANY REASON or no reason at all… at home, work, in hospital, in long term care, or hospice… where ever it is you need gifts delivered to show you care; same or next day in Central York Region.

NEWMARKET PICK-UP

FOR ALL ORDERS UNDER $50 and for others who request in lieu of free local delivery, we have an option of pre-scheduled front door pick up and are conveniently located on Charles street, just steps away from the Southlake Regional Healthcare Centre in Newmarket. We can accommodate pick ups the same day in most cases with a bit of lead time during our business hours which are:

12:00 pm-6:00 PM on Tuesdays, and 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Wednesday thru Saturday.

CAREBAG is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays.

What is the delivery time for online orders from Carebag?

Depending on time of day your order is placed we offer free same or next day delivery to Southlake Healthcare Centre or home delivery within York region.

Orders placed after 2pm will be considered for first come first served next business day delivery. Yes, my husband Anthony is my delivery driver!!! Only the best!

Scheduled “Pick up option can also be arranged with just a two hour lead time during our normal business hours in Newmarket... located just one block away from Southlake!

Our hours of delivery are Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Are Carebags only for hospital patients?

While comforting hospital and cancer patients and creating related gift curations are a passion… There is a Carebag for everyone… not just for patients or staff of the hospital. Many self care gifts are available… as self care is healthcare! CAREBAG also has many Christmas and holiday gift ideas and everyday curations to include: just because, thinking of you, thank you, mindfulness, get well, for fun, for kids, caregivers, and the list goes on! These are gifts that speak louder than words to help spread care and cheer from sweet sentiments to sassy sayings!

Can I just buy the bag?

Carebag curates gift bags using totebags as our vessel of choice versus using a basket or box and does not sell just the tote bag itself…We put the care in the bag, beautiful thoughtful colourful tissue paper wrapped curations! Selling just a bag may be possible for some of our future table pop-ups but as a general answer sorry, no we do not sell empty tote bags but you may request to swap a bag style from another curated bag when it is available. A ”Build a Bag” option is also available starting at just $50!

Why do you use Tote-bags?

Tote bags are a very sweet, unique, colourful, and sometimes even sassy staple of CAREBAG and also actually a very eco friendly gifting option. Not to brag but Instead of over filling a basket or a box or store bought gift bag full of half empty blah packaging then tossing the box or baskets you can reuse our trendy worded cheerful tote bags over and over… as grocery getters, organizers, carry alls, or pass on to a friend, the options are endless! Plus they are so fun to receive and pull out the colourful (recycled, eco friendly) tissue paper wrapped contents , surprise after surprise! It’s the gift that that keeps giving!

Does Carebag offer shipping?

No, I am sorry but unfortunately at this time Carebag does not offer shipping and instead as a new startup is concentrating locally with the ability to provide the local York region area with free delivery on all purchases over $50. Also there is an option of same day local Newmarket pick up by appointment. Shipping may become an option and added in the future as our business grows and evolves.

As a local small business that delivers gifting items of personal nature we do not allow for any Returns or Refunds. Exception: in the highly unlikely most never to happen scenario that promised product was suddenly unavailable after payment. In the unlikely event of an extremely damaged or wrong product please contact us Contact.carebag@gmail.com and we will address the situation in the best way possible.
If the purchased gift bag is undeliverable due to an incorrect address that was provided to us or the gift is refused for any reason at the time of delivery or it deemed unsafe to leave it unattended in the event where the recipient is unavailable or not home the bag will be kept until the original sender can be notified. For a second attempted delivery a small charge will be required.
Please note for health and sanitation purposes gifts cannot be delivered to any hospital room in quarantine which scrub is required.
