Our Inspiration
- My name is Bonnie, founder and creator of CARE❤️BAG, and as someone living with residual breast cancer; I have personally both felt and witnessed firsthand how hard it can be not knowing what to say or do when a loved one is suddenly facing a very stressful time or life changing illness. If there is someone your thinking about today, do not look away… Carebag is here to help you find comfort by providing information, resources, and beautifully curated gift collections for your loved ones and friends AND THEIR CAREGIVERS, containing what they need to feel thought of and that may help make their journey even a touch better. Please stick around and take a look through our website and blog, maybe refer us to a friend, we are here not to just sell gifts but to help educate caregivers, friends… and help show them and those in treatments, recovering from illness, trauma, or just a crap week that someone cares. I believe our future customers will say my curations were a pleasure to give and even better to receive!
- As someone who is just completing the very worst of years myself, I am so grateful for everyday… for my loving husband (now volunteer CAREBAG delivery driver), for my lifesaving mastectomy surgery, chemo treatments, the hospital staff and through the best and worst of my days I always know that I can depend and trust my doctors and the care plan. I am far from out of the woods, still in intensive hormonal therapy treatments with lesions under surveillance… but have a newfound appreciation for life and learning to celebrate everyday victories AND to reward myself with self care. My mindset went from wanting to not follow the treatment plan, to quitting, to finding new courage and now wanting to use my strengths to help hold others up and cross that finish line together no matter their battle!

Our Gift Bags
- Offering a wide selection of specialty gifts and curated tote-bags containing a unique mix of interesting, comforting, fun, and most importantly essential gifts that are useful… including personal care items, pure natural products, crocheted items, organic superfood teas, wish bracelets, hand poured soy candles, natural soaps, lotions, lip balms and so much more.
- Our offerings have been hand selected and made with care by a mix of care minded companies that give back, skilled artisans, and local independent makers… The products we carry and contents of our gift bags mostly come from all over Canada, Ontario, and right here in Newmarket!
- CARE❤️BAG and its use of Tote-bags for gift giving is an added bonus for us to help keep unnecessary packaging items out of landfills. Repurpose! Reuse! Recycle! It can be used over and over as a grab and go bag for any reason! No two bags are exactly alike, there are many variations. We plan to continually rotate items selections and add new ones. Please check back often to see whats in store and whats in the bag! Since variety is the spice of life, we are hoping to continually add even more small local treasures as we rise and shine!
